Who is Dentistry From The Heart?
Dentistry From The Heart is a registered non-profit organization who has helped over 12,000 patients and has given away over 3 million dollars in dental care. This year is Dentistry From The Heart's tenth year anniversary of helping individual dentists and practices across the country host their own Free Day of Dentistry.
What kind of dentistry is offered at 380's Family Dentistry DFTH Event?
Dentistry From The Heart events only provide free extractions, fillings and cleanings. Given the influx of what can be hundreds of individuals on a given day, only these three procedures are possible.
How can I receive treatment at this event?
All that is required for treatment at 380 Dental's DFTH event is being 18 years old. The first 100 participants are eligible for 380 Dental's DFTH even. Since we have a high number of expected attendees, we recommend arriving early.
Can my kids receive free dental care?
Dentistry From The Heart members provides free dental care services to adults 18+. Give Kids a Smile, another national dental nonprofit, provides childred 18 and under with free dental care during the month of February. For more information please visit Give Kids a Smile.
What if I need follow up care?
Dentistry From The Heart events are not able to provide for all manner of dental care services. However, we recommend that patients requiring additional treatment explore options with local free clinics in the area. You can get a list of these from the Collin County Healthcare Offices. Another course of action is to contact the local dental school at Baylor College of Dentistry.
